On July 2, 2005 the world rejoiced when the members of Pink Floyd, sans Syd, reunited to play at Live 8. Society is saturated with horrible music ranging from Nickelback to Paris Hilton to Fergy. He changed his stage name from Puff Daddy to P. Diddy and now Diddy, but what he would really like to be called is Bond … James Bond.
“One day the time will come for a black Bond and hopefully I can audition for it,” U.S. rapper and entrepreneur Sean “Diddy” Combs said on the sidelines of the MTV Europe Music Awards late on Thursday. “It’s a dream of mine to play a great role like that.” The current holder of that position is actor Daniel Craig, who plays the secret agent in the eagerly-awaited “Casino Royale,” which comes out later this month. Craig also attended the Copenhagen show to present an award. “I love the Bond they have now,” said Diddy. “He’s a great actor and I think they made a great choice.” Diddy’s acting resume consists mainly of a role as a death-row inmate in the racially charged drama “Monster’s Ball” in 2002. |
